Bob Ford is the current head football coach of the Albany Great Danes located in Albany, New York. Albany dropped its club team after the 1924 season. A 46-year absence followed before the university restored the football team. Ford was appointed as the head coach on April 27, 1970 where he has remained since.[1] The Great Danes compete in the Football Championship Subdivision in Division I as members of the Northeast Conference.
